Chairperson - Ms. Sheray Franklin is serving her 3rd year on the Chatham County Youth Commission. She is a Senior at Savannah Arts Academy.

Vice Chairperson - Ms. Desirae Suggs is serving her 3rd year on the Chatham County Youth Commission. She is a Senior at Savannah Arts Academy.

Secretary - Ms. Monique Pal is serving her 3rd year on the Chatham County Youth Commission. She is a Senior at Savannah Arts Academy.

Co-Parliamentarian - Mr. Shawn Knight is serving his 3rd year on the Chatham County Youth Commission. He is a Senior at Jenkins High School .

Co-Parliamentarian - Ms. Korbyn Mingledorf is serving her 2nd year on the Chatham County Youth Commission. She is a Junior at Early College.

Executive Board Member - Ms. Lauren Cummings is serving her 2nd year on the Chatham County Youth Commission. She is a Senior at Jenkins High School.

Executive Board Member - Ms. Tilly Isaacson is serving her 2nd year on the Chatham County Youth Commission. She is a Junior at Savannah Country Day.

The Chatham County Youth Commission was created in 1992 by Dr. Priscilla D. Thomas and the Chatham County Commission for high school students in public and private schools in Chatham County. Recognized nationally as a best practice in youth governmental leadership programs, the Youth Commission is directed by Alderman Van R. Johnson, II and has been duplicated in Fulton County (Atlanta), GA; Prince George County, MD; Alachua County (Gainesville), FL; Cass County (Fargo) ND, Dougherty County (Albany) GA and similar programs are in development in Newnan, Georgia, Dekalb County, GA and Peachtree City, GA.
