Stacy Accepted into Stony Brook University of New York Graduate School

Stacy Cobb Stacy Cobb Savannah native and recent Savannah State University graduate, Stacy A. Cobb, has been accepted for graduate school at Stony Brook State University located in Stony Brook, New York. Stacy Cobb was awarded a full $30,000 SBU fellowship for her duration of school.

While at Stony Brook, she plans to receive her Master of Science in applied Mathematics and Statistics.

While attending H. V. Jenkins High School, Cobb enrolled at Savannah State through the Joint Enrollment and Pipeline programs. She graduated from Savannah State University in three years and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in biology in May 2008; graduating Magna Cum Laude.

While pursuing her degree, Stacy Cobb made the dean's list, honor roll and was listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. She was also a Hill Hall Scholar and earned scholarships from Links and Kendell Patterson.

Stacy is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., National Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society and was a Peach State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participants (PSLSAMP). The PSLSAMP program is for students majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Stacy is the daughter of Andre and Larrice Cobb and she has one brother, DeVon, a sophomore at Johnson High School.
