Connor's Temple Church's Financial Planning Ministry to host Estate Planning Seminar

The Financial Planning Ministry of Connor's Temple Baptist Church will host its 3rd quarter financial workshop/ seminar on Saturday, September 20, 2008 beginning at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 12:00 noon at the Con- Ed Family Resource Center, 714 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Savannah.

This quarter's topic, ESTATE PLANNING, will be facilitated by Attorney Charles W. Bell, Principal Partner of the law firm Charles William Bell & Associates.

As a service to the community at large, Connor's Temple Baptist Church launched it Financial Planning Ministry in January of this year and has held two prior events. The first focused on basic personal financial management, and the second was on home ownership.

The objective of the current seminar is to raise citizens' conscious levels about the very essential need to prepare for, and control their own destinies when rendered incompetent or at such time life ceases. Some topics to be discussed in the ESTATE PLANNING segment will include structuring a Will, artificial life support, guardianship of elderly parents and grand children, the effects of various Powers of Attorney and much more.
