Paula Deen Paula Deen The Lady is coming to Savannah's historic Lucas Theater for a stunning evening of food, fun, laughter and music on September 21, 2008, and you are invited to the party!

Paula Deen will headline the cast of Savannah's local favorites for a gala performance benefiting Savannah Area Family Emergency (SAFE) Shelter, the area's licensed domestic violence shelter and outreach program.

Paula will bring her unique Southern charm to the stage to the delight of her many fans in Savannah and across the country. Kim Polote, winner of the prestigious 2001 Oxnard Medal in the American Traditions vocal competition, will perform. Other Savannah notables to appear will include emcee Sonny Dixon and Hollywood producer and ice cream entrepreneur Stratton Leopold.

Both Paula and Kim serve on SAFE Shelter's Board of Directors and have been ardent supporters of the organization for many years.

The evening will begin at the beautifully-renovated Charles Morris Center at Trustee's Garden with cocktails and food from Paula's famous Lady & Sons restaurant. All ticket holders will be entered to win raffle prizes of jewelry, original art works and travel packages.
