The Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club Alumni and Friends Association will commemorate the founder's birthday. Frank Callen was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 18, 1886. He died in Savannah in January 1949, and was interred in Laurel Grove Cemetery. Alumni and Friends will assemble at his grave site Thursday September 11, 6pm. They will bring rakes, hoes etc. to beautify the grave site.

On Sunday, September 14, 3pm, they will conduct a memorial and wreath laying ceremony. To find Frank Callen's grave site in Laurel Grove Cemetery, enter at 37th street. Three blocks straight ahead and on the right you will find the Curley family plot. Frank Callen and his wife Irma Curley Callen are buried there.
