United House or Prayer for All People Celebrates 82 years of Holy Convocation

The United House of Prayer for All People, of The Church on The Rock of The Apostolic Faith is set to celebrate seven (7) nights of its 82nd year of Holy Convocation, Sunday, September 14 - Sunday, September 21, 2008.

These seven (7) nights of great celebration will take place at the United House of Prayer, 1805 Ogeechee Road. The celebration features invited UHOP choirs, singers, and shout bands-there will be shouting, preaching, and praising the Almighty God each night of this Holy week.

Our Special Guest: The Honorable C. M. (Daddy) Bailey, newly elected bishop of the United House of Prayer. Nightly service begins at 8:00pm; Baptismal Service will be held Sunday September 21st at 11:00am on church grounds; and The Annual Grace-American Peace Parade will be held Sunday September 21st at 2:00pm.

Bishop C. M. Bailey is the fourth leader of the United House of Prayer, since the organization's founding by Bishop C. M. Grace. Bailey follows in the foot steps of his predecessors Bishops S. C. Madison and W. McCollough whose guiding steps and directions were ordered by the Lord. He was elected Bishop May 24, 2008, during the organization's General Assembly. Daddy Bailey is committed to continuing the works of the House of Prayerto preach the Word of God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to establish edifices wherein all people can worship and pray to the Almighty God.
