Celebrity Chefs To Visit Savannah

Tre Wilcox Tre Wilcox Three Nationally recognized "Celebrity" chefs will visit Kitchenware Outfitters in Savannah to sign books and host cooking classes in September and October.

Chef Tre Wilcox will host classes on Thursday, September 11 and Friday, September 12 and will perform in-store demonstrations and sign books on Saturday, September 13.

If you followed Bravo television's Top Chef, you may remember Tre as the "fan favorite". He has also competed on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. Dallas Morning News food critic Bill Addison has described Chef Wilcox as "a culinary trademark name". Chef Wilcox has also received two nominations for Rising Chef from the James Beard Foundation.

On Thursday, October 2, Chef and Grillmaster, Elizabeth Karmel will sign her book, Taming the Flame, and host a cooking class on grilling.

Chef Karmel is the creator of the "Grill Friends" line of outdoor cooking tools and "Warning: Girls Grilling" accessories. Chef Karmel has become one of the country's go-to resources for barbecue and grilling. She has been a featured guest on Sara's Secrets, Chef Sara Moulton's popular Food Network Show, as well as NBC's Today Show, CBS's Early Show and ABC's Good Morning America.

Elizabeth Karmel Elizabeth Karmel Chef Virginia Willis will visit on Thursday October 9 to sign her cookbook, Bon Appetit, Y'all and host a cooking class.

Chef Willis is the former kitchen director for Martha Stewart Living Television and also worked as a personal chef for Martha, preparing meals for such guests as President Clinton, Aretha Franklin and culinary legend Julia Child.
