Spirit of Excellence Accepting Nominations
Estelle Mannion The Spirit of Excellence Black Business Awards salutes the accomplishments of business leaders, professionals and extraordinary individuals. Nominations are being accepted until September 12, 2008 for awards in the following categories.
An individual nominee must be African American and businesses must be at least 51% (percent) African American owned.
Emerging Business Award: A 2-5 year old business poised for future growth exhibiting innovative ways to adapt to today's market.
Special Achievement Award: An Entrepreneur who exhibits exceptional innovation in business through his work.
Outstanding
Achievement Award: In recognition of outstanding leadership and contributions in the business arena.
Lifetime Achievement: In recognition of twenty-five or more years in business or a profession and contributions to the economic development of African Americans.
Business of the Year Award: In recognition of a business with consistency, growth, good leadership and
Male Extraordinaire Award: Recognizes a business or professional male of noble character who exemplifies leadership, vision determination and strength and positively impacts the community.
Unstoppable Woman Award: Recognizes a business or professional woman of good character who examples, resilience perseverance and vision who makes positive contributions to the community.
