Kappa's Scholarship Fund at SSU Reaches $20,000

Kevin Foard; Dr. Earl G. Yarbrough, President, SSU; Polemarch Roy Simmons; Edwin Morris The Mark C. Clayton- Kappa Alpha Psi Endowed Scholarship at SSU reached its projected goal of $20,000 on July 30, 2008 when Dr. Earl G. Yargrough, president of SSU, accepted a check from representatives of the Savannah alumni chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity for $2,000. The scholarship was established in 2004 with an initial endowment of $10,000. According to records from the university's Office of Advancement, Mr. Mario Gray, senior, was the recipient of the scholarship for the school year 2007-08.
