Your presence is requested to participate in the city's 4th Annual "BREAKTHROUGH: An Explosion of Parent Unity in the Community"(A Three Day Community Event). This event is designed to help children become successful and reach their full potential academically, socially and morally by creating parental awareness and involvement in the lives of children at home, in school and in the community.

The "Walk for Positive Parenthood" will be held on August 9, 2008 at the Savannah Civic Center at 10:00 A.M.

The walk route will assemble at the Savannah Civic Center at 9:30 A.M. enroute towards the Civic Center to Barnard to Broughton and then to Bull Street. Once walkers reach Bull Street they will be welcomed by the School Superintendent at the Board of Education, then proceed on Bull to Liberty then back to the Civic Center. Finally everyone will assemble at Jenkins High School Auditorium for the Parental Forum/Information & Education session and backto school give-a-way.
