The members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the Zeta Amicae Auxiliary, and the three youth groups of the sorority donated seventy Easter baskets to the children of Greenbriar Children’s Center on Thursday, April 17, 2014.
The baskets were donated by the Sorors, the Friends and the Youth groups as part of the national Z-Hope Project, Zetas Helping Other People Excel.
Soror Lou Frazier Brown, the local chairperson of Z-Hope, coordinated this annual project.
Also during the week, the Sorors helped some of the ladies at Azealand Nursing Home beautify themselves for Easter. Twelve of the ladies at the facility had their fingers painted with pretty bright colors to match their Easter attire. The ladies were very appreciative and delighted to have the Sorors patiently pamper them with tender loving care.
