World Trade Center Savannah To Host International Protocol And Cross-Cultural Training


On Monday, Aug. 25, 1:30 – 5:00 p.m., World Trade Center Savannah will host International Protocol and Cross-Cultural Training at WTC Savannah, 131 Hutchinson Island Road. The session will provide training to ensure professionals are versed in the basics and nuances of international protocol and etiquette and avoid mistakes that could stunt or destroy relationships central to successful commercial and cultural exchanges.

Veteran protocol expert Chris Young will conduct the training. He is the President of Protocol & Diplomacy International Protocol Officers Association and the former Executive Director of The Protocol School of Washington, D.C. He also served as Chief of Protocol and Director of International Affairs for the State of Georgia.

The training will cover: Processes for doing business and coordinating events where international order of precedence, customs and cultural differences are critical; Basic international protocol and cross-cultural literacy and more and Basic entertaining
