Voting is an American right and many have fought for this privilege. It is a responsibility of citizenship. It is our duty to let our voices be heard and our privilege to choose who will hold positions such as the Savannah-Chatham County School Board President or Governor of Georgia.

In the final call, as voters, we decide who will lead us.

Holding elections to choose who will hold important positions in our state and local government allows citizens to decide who will govern and guide many aspects of our lives.

Voting gives citizens the magic wand of power to influence key positions such as Governor of Georgia or School Board faithfully serve our city, members who will hopeful ly, county, state and nation with integrity and honesty.

If you did not vote Tuesday, May 22 in the Primary election, you can participate in the primary runoff election to be held on July 24, 2018, if needed.

Please note that you must be a registered voter by October 9, 2018 in order to vote in The General Midterm Election which will be held November 6, 2018.

Let your voice be heard by supporting men and women who exemplify excellent leadership skills and who will advance our community, state and nation in a positive direction.
