Robert Cohen was born on July 9, 1982 and although he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy only a year later, he never let that stop him from achieving his goals. Cohen is a native of Savannah, Georgia. He was educated in Chatham County Public Schools and received his high school diploma in 2001. He continued his education at Savannah State University from 2001 through 2005 when he earned his of Bachelor’s in Science in Sociology and minored in Psychology. Robert Cohen was brought up in the historic First African Baptist Church in Downtown Savannah.. In November of 2010, Cohen published his first book, “Joys, Fears and Tears” which is a compilation of his life experiences in the form of poetry. He expresses how he feels about situations that occurred in his lifetime; from living with cerebral palsy, to different family situations, to relationships with friends and female acquaintances. In November of 2013, Cohen published, “Inspiration: Physically Challenged but Mentally Determined,” a book written to inspire others that with the help of God, hard work and dedication, anything is possible. In December of 2013, Cohen published, “Faceoff: Men vs. Women Needs, Wants, & Desires.” This book discusses relationships and situations that couples go through in these relationships. In March of 2015, Cohen became ordained as a licensed Minister.
