Spring Revival 2014

Pastor C. MeGill Brown, the Officers and Members of the Historic Second African Baptist Church, 123 Houston Street, Savannah, Georgia, announce their 2014 Spring Revival. Revival Services will be held Monday, May 19th – Friday, May 23rd, 7:00 nightly. The guest revivalist is the Pastor Paul A. Sheppard, Senior Pastor of the Thankful Missionary Baptist Church here in Savannah.

Pastor Sheppard is a native of Fairfax, Virginia and a graduate of Howard University and Wilbur H. Waters School of Religion and Theological Seminary. This great preacher was licensed in 1993 and ordained in 2000 at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia, where his grandfather the late Rev. Milton Sheppard served as Pastor for 39 years.

We look forward to seeing the entire Savannah Community the week of the 19th, as we eat from the table that the Lord has prepared for us.

Women’s Day 2014

Pastor C. MeGill Brown and the Women’s Ministry of Second African Baptist Church,announces the celebration of our Women’s Day 2014. This day of celebration will take place on Sunday, May 18th at 11 am, during our Morning Worship Service. We celebrate our mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and friends that worked faithfully with inner beauty and strength that pleases God.

Our guest messenger for this special day of celebration is Sis. Cynthia E. Fearbry. Sis. Fearbry is a native of Montgomery, AL. She was married to the late Dr. Frederick Alan Fearbry, former pastor of Thankful Missionary Baptist Church. Sister Fearbry is now a current member of Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church under the prophetic leadership of Pastor Quentin J. Morris, Sr.
