Union Mission, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to preventing and reducing homelessness throughout the greater Savannah area, encourages the community to take advantage of BOGOs on Black Friday.
In the spirit of the holidays, Union Mission invites the public to Buy One, Give One to help those in need in our comm unity. The busiest shopping day of the season,
Black Friday presents great opportunities to give. This year, Black Friday takes place on November 29.
Shoppers are asked to open their hearts this season and donate items to assist individuals who are striving to rebuild their lives. Donations of men’s white dress shirts and steel-toe boots help clients who are seeking employment. Donations of towels, soap, deodorant and lotion assist our clients in emergency shelter, while donations of toys and games bring holiday cheer to the children being helped by Union Mission.
“When you’re shopping on Black Friday, please remember that taking advantage of a BOGO deal can brighten the holiday for someone in need, by buying one and giving one,” said Dr. Gerri Ann Robbins, chief operating officer at Union Mission.
