TLOD Inducts New Members and Celebrates Founders’ Day

The Savannah Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporate welcomed seven new members into the fold on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Hoskins Center located on the campus of Memorial Medical University Hospital. The ceremonial ritual was conducted by lady Eddie Lee Marsh, National Area IV Director of TLOD from Savannah and a member of the local TLOD Chapter. The newly inductees include ladies Olivia A. Ammonds, Caryn l. Brown, Mary l. Knight, Genitha Singleton, La Tasha S. Thomas, LaSaundra C. Wade, and Susie K. Williams. The chapter looks forward with great anticipation to having these dynamic individuals within our organization to provide service to youth and adults. `Following the Induction Service, Founders’ Day was observed. This celebration was held in remembrance of the original founders of TLOD. The members participated in the Re-dedication Ceremony, conducted by lady Carolyn Stanley, administrative assistant, and pledged to provide continuous loyalty and service to the organization. Lady Tahisa Wright served as mistress of ceremony. A reception was held immediately following to culminate these two events.

Lady Annette K. Mitchell is the president of the Savannah Chapter and Lady Daisy Williams, who serves as 2nd Vice President, coordinated the induction procedures and Founders’ Day activities.
