Three Savannah State University women’s basketball student-athletes scored in double-digit points in its final nonconference game of the season as the Lady Tigers (3-9) defeated Allen University 72-46 Monday night in Tiger Arena to snap a five-game losing streak and to begin a five-game homestand.
Junior guard Chelsea Frazier led SSU for the second consecutive game to tie a career-high with 12 points on 4-for-7 shooting.
Junior forward Jeremica Edwards added 10 points on 5-for-9 shooting, while junior guard Rhianna Warren, junior guard Kenyata
Hendrix and sophomore guard Lauryn Fields each added nine points.
The Lady Tigers play against North Carolina A&T State on Saturday at 4 p.m.
