The Neighborhood at Starland Village, a planned
collection of coworking offices offering business resources in Starland District, recently hosted Pitch Savannah, a virtual investor roadshow event for five area startups.
In partnership with José Mallabo, co-founder and chief executive officer of Vireo Labs, a company that develops career path discovery and education planning tools, Pitch Savannah focused on introducing west coast investors to a dynamic group of startup companies based in Savannah. Investors were able to learn about the most promising and emerging technologies from the companies.
In addition to offering monthly events to entrepreneurs, The Neighborhood will foster a community of small businesses through its affordable co-working spaces. Amenities will also include broadband fiber internet, conference rooms, 24-hour access, a mother’s room, educational resources and networking events.
