On Saturday, January 19, 2013, the Junior League of Savannah hosted their mid-year leadership training at the Southwest Chatham Library. This training is part of the league’s focus on developing the leadership potential of its members. At the core of their mission, the organization believes that voluntarism provides members with a path to becoming civic leaders, first with their League, and then, often, with other community organizations. The training focused on building a cohesive team; an element important to any multi-member organization.
