The Hungry Club Forum “Part 2-Strengthening Minority Business Development”


 
 

The next Signature Roundtable and Open Forum of the Hungry Club Forum of Savannah, Inc. (HCFS) will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 9:30 AM, at the WSB YMCA, located at 1110 May Street. The forum will focus on “Part 2-Strengthening Minority Business Development.” A panel of business owners and advocates will address some of the continuing hindrances to minority business ownership and development in the area, and bring forth solutions to move forward in strengthening the total community. Panelists will report on trends and opportunities in the current business climate and landscape, share information, and techniques relative to their success.

Panelists include Charles L. Gordon, founder of Statewide Healthcare, the multimillion dollar, 20-year-old firm that provides in-home care to persons enrolled in Medicaid across the State of Georgia; his son State Rep. J. Craig Gordon, is the current CEO of Statewide Healthcare.

Alicia E. Scott, Owner and principal consultant of Introspect Consulting Group, a marketing and social media firm, will also be on the panelist. Following the panel presentation and open forum, a recap of the outcome of the November 3 election will wrap up this session of the HCFS.
