The 30th Annual Savannah Black Heritage Festival opened at the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum on Saturday, February 2, 2019. The event included a program presented by the Earl T. Shinhoster Leadership Institute, with speaker Dr. Jamal Toure, and a special presentation to the Artists who, through the years, have produced the art, for the Festival’s posters. The Posters, which include the Festival’s logo, done by artist Cindy Collins, are on display at the Museum, in the Earl T. Shinhoster Resource Center throughout the month of February.
