Sheila Raye Charles Visits Savannah


 
 

Sheila Raye Charles, daughter of the late, legendary Ray Charles, will be in Savannah, GA Sept. 13 – 16, 2012 from 10am-2pm performing and sharing her testimony in several venues. Ms. Charles sings both her own songs and her father’s songs. Additionally, she shares her inspirational and motivational story of her crack-cocaine addiction, multiple prison sentences, near death experiences, the pain of losing custody of all of her children, and of God’s redeeming power.

On Thursday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. – 2p.m. there will be a Recovery Place Recovery Day Celebration at Coastal Georgia Center that is open to public at 7 p.m. Celebrate Recovery Islands Christian Church, 4601 Highway 80 E, on Friday, Sept. 14 from 10a.m. – 3 p.m. there will be multiple sessions held which is open to the public.

Raye will be at Chatham County Jail 1050 Carl Griffin Drive on Sunday, Sept. 16 This is closed to public.

There will be a 11 a.m. service at Royal Church of Christ, 1902 Rogers Street and it is open to the public as well.
