As part of Patriot Day, remembered globally as the anniversary of the catastrophic terrorist attacks on the United States, the City of Richmond Hill will host a ceremony to observe September 11 and honor the City of Richmond Hill Fire and Police Departments. Speakers will include Mayor Harold Fowler, Police Chief Bill Reynolds and Fire Chief Ralph Catlett. A moment of silence will be followed by the ringing of bells and Taps. The event is open to the public. The event will be held at J.F. Gregory Park, 521 Cedar Street, on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10am.
