Scott Center Elected To World Trade Centers Association Board of Directors

World Trade Center Savannah (WTCSav) Chairman of the Board of Directors Scott Center has been elected to the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Board of Directors. Center was elected at the association’s General Assembly, April 2-5 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

World Trade Center Savannah is a member of the WTCA, a global association of more than 300 World Trade Centers in nearly 100 countries.

“It is an honor to be elected to the World Trade Centers Association Board of Directors along with Directors from other great cities in the world,” said Center. “I believe that my involvement with World Trade Center Savannah over the past five years and its successes will be beneficial to the World Trade Centers Association as we look to move the association forward. My election is a reflection of the great work of the staff of World Trade Center Savannah. World Trade Center Savannah has already distinguished itself among the World Trade Centers network.” Center will be serving on the global board alongside other World Trade Centers members including Beijing, Mumbai, Hauge, San Paulo, Panama, Boston and Miami among others.

“Scott has been instrumental in the founding and success of World Trade Center Savannah and his knowledge will be a great asset to the World Trade Centers Association. We are proud to have him representing Savannah and all of North America on the international board,” Brynn Grant, WTCSav Vice President.

Center is the owner of National Office Systems, a contract furnishings and interior design firm that has operated in Savannah since 1986.

In addition to serving as WTCSav’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Center has also chaired the Savannah Technical College Foundation, Leadership Savannah, the Area Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council and Vision 20/20. He has served on the boards of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, Savannah Economic Development Authority, The United Way, American Cancer Society, Greenbriar Children’s Center, Frank Callen’s Boys and Girls Club, The Executive Association of Savannah, Parent and Child Development Agency among multiple others.
