Savannah/Chatham CASA Displays Blue Ribbons For Awareness

Savannah/Chatham CASA concludes their observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month this April, the local child abuse and neglect advocacy agency adorned the exterior trees of Forsyth Park with blue ribbon last Monday. Blue is the color of awareness for child abuse prevention foster care awareness. The ribbons will remain on the trees until Friday, May 2nd.

May is National Foster Care Month. National Foster Care Month is a time to recognize the role each of us plays in enhancing the lives of children and youth in foster care. National Foster Care Month will also be kicked off with the Savannah/Chatham CASA Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:30am at the Coastal Georgia Center.
