In celebration of #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media, Savannah Speech and Hearing Center has received a $5000 grant as part of The Rite Aid Foundation’s KidsCent Thanks for Giving Holiday program.
Savannah Speech and Hearing Center, a nonprofit organization serving the speech pathology and audiology needs of the Coastal Empire, will use the grant to support their Sound Start program providing learning and therapy materials, tests, and educational toys for the children enrolled in the school.
“We are proud to be a part of the KidsCents Thanks For Giving Holiday program,” said Dr. Beth McIntosh, Savannah Speech and Hearing Center Executive Director.
In addition, Savannah Speech and Hearing Center has the opportunity to receive an additional grant of $2500 by being the charity that has the most likes, shares, and comments on their social media posts for #GivingTuesday, November 27, 2018.
The Rite Aid Foundation is awarding a total of $2.2 million through its KidsCents Thanks for Giving Holiday program.
