Savannah Silver Cheetahs Compete in N.C. United Youth Indoor Track & Field

This past weekend, on December 30, 2017, the Silver Cheetahs competed in the North Carolina United Youth Indoor Track and Field Classic in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. 10 athletes from the Savannah-Chatham Silver Cheetahs competed in Winston Salem, North Carolina, against multiple track and field teams across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

As a result, the Savannah Chatham Silver Cheetahs brought home 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The following athletes competed in the NC United Youth Indoor Track and Field Classic in Winston

Salem, North Carolina: 1. Mariah Ogden – Gold in Shot Put (24 ft. = Meet Record), 15th in 60 Meter Dash (10.06s); 2. Keyara Lovett – Silver in High Jump; 3. Desiree Lovett – Bronze in Shot Put (31 ft. 8 in = Meet Record); 4. Ivey Hall – 4th in 400 Meter Run (1:12.91s), 7th in 60 Meter Dash (9.62s); 5. Olivia Brown – 5th in High Jump (4 ft. 10 in), 6. Malaysia Jordan – 5th in Shot Put (30 ft. 6 in = Meet Record) 7. Nysha Jordan – 7th in High Jump (4 ft. 8 in), 8. Khobe Fields – 10th in Long Jump (5 ft. 1 in), 20th in 60 Meter Dash (11.19s) 9. Alexandria Riley – 14th in 400 Meter Run (1:05.28s) 10. Ka’Leah Parker – 20th in 60 Meter Dash (9.57s), 21st in 200 Meter Dash (35.57s)
