Savannah Riverfront Hosts 4th Of July Festival On River Street

Celebrate your holiday weekend at the Savannah Riverfront’s Fourth of July Festival on the River! Don’t miss out on River Street’s largest fireworks show and entertainment from eight local bands all weekend long from July 4-7!

Grab your chair (and get there early) to watch the sky light up for the Fireworks Extravaganza presented by CarMax along with the City of Savannah and Chatham County. Fireworks will take place on Thursday, July 4 from 9:30-10pm. Don’t go anywhere after the show because live entertainment will be featured on the Arbor Stage until 11pm!

The first annual Burger Battle with Eat It and Like It! has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date. This head to head competition amongst local restaurants is to be hosted by our favorite Savannah foodie Jesse Blanco.

Festivities continue on Saturday kicking off with the Savannah Cornhole and Rock 106.1 cornhole tournament at 11am. Teams can pre-register for this competition online at Rock 106.1.com. The winning team will receive meet & greet passes along with tickets to see Trapt at Wild Wing Café on Monday, July 8. Live music will continue throughout the weekend along with arts & crafts on Rousakis Plaza. Festival Hours are 4-11pm on Thursday, noon- 11pm on Friday, 10am-11pm on Saturday, and 10am-5pm on Sunday.
