The First “Savannah Natural Hair Care Show” will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at The Civil Rights Museum, 460 Martin Luther King Blvd. 11a.m. to 7 p.m.
The show is hosted by Malaika Tamu Cooper of Dreadz N Heads, Baltimore, MD. and Deloris Screen- Daniels of Options for Hair, Savannah, Ga.
This expo is aimed at the natural hair enthusiast interested in learning, networking, and celebrating culture… Natural living as well as lifestyle.
Some of the free classes offered are: Transitioning from chemical to Natural; I’m natural what now/ Choosing Products Wisely; Hair Locking 101; Creative Locks and Adornment; Achieving Beautiful Skin From the Inside Out; Womb Wellness: The Holistic Approach
Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under twelve.
Everyone is asked to bring three (3) can goods or a cash donation for The Savannah Feed the Hungry Program.
