Savannah clergy and community members held a press conference and vigil Tuesday, November 8th at City Hall to pray for the families of those lost to gun violence in recent days and to call for action to stop the senseless killing. Together we will remember these vibrant lives cut short and call for community healing, support and action for the victims of the recent shootings in Savannah and San Bernardino along with all victims of gun violence throughout our country and our world.

The clergy included Rev. Dr. George A. Moore, Jr. – Interdenominational Ministers Alliance; Rabbi Robert Haas – Congregation Mickve Israel; Rev. Bill Hester – Asbury Memorial UMC; Rev. Will Shelburne – First Presbyterian Church and Rev. Grady Mills – Asbury Memorial UMC.
