Royce Learning Center to host 5th Annual Evening of Jazz


The 5th Annual Evening of Jazz for Adult Literacy will be held on Friday, September 16th, 2011 at 7:30pm at the Lucas Theater.

The Adult and Community Education (or ACE) program helps adults learn basic literacy skills, earn a GED or prepare for the workforce. The evening will feature Nashville-style swing Jazz music arranged and performed by local renowned Jazz Violinist Ricardo Ochoa and the Bohemian Dream Band for an evening of unforgettable entertainment.

VIP tickets include a preshow, food and drink reception hosted at 45 Bistro starting at 6:30pm. Opening act entertainment will be provided by Seersucker Live, a literary performance by local writers.

Ticket prices range from $15 to $75 for reserved seating and can be purchased at the Savannah Box Office, 216 East Broughton Street or www.savannahboxoffice.com.

ACE is a non-profit program that is supported through the generosity of our community and by funds from the United Way of the Coastal Empire.
