Local vocalist Roger Moss and organist / pianist Timothy Hall will present a concert of hymns from many traditions on Sunday, May 24, 3pm at Christ Church Episcopal on Johnson Square.
“This is like com- ing home for Tim and me. We both have solid roots in sacred music and we are pleased to share favorite spirituals and hymns” states Roger Moss. The concert is for the entire family.
Roger Moss, a former finalist in the American Traditions Competition has an extensive background that varies from the role of Jake in Porgy and Bess with the Memphis Opera to his ongoing work with Onstage Cabaret at the Lucas Theatre. He is also the co-founder of the Savannah Children’s Choir.
Timothy Hall is the organist and choirmaster at Christ Church Episcopal. He is a graduate of the esteemed Westminster Choir College. He has traveled and performed extensively and is a sought after organist and accompanist. He is the accompanist for the Savannah Children’s Choir.
Admission is $10 and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Savannah Children’s Choir.
