Alzheimer’s Associatioon Meeting

Alzheimer’s Association Support Group meeting from 10:30-noon, Monday, August 4 at Skidaway Island United Methodist church, 54 Diamond Causeway, Savannah. Proposed topic: "Caring for a Spouse With Dementia". Families dealing with this long term neurological disease that causes progressive memory loss are encouraged to attend this small group discussion led by a former caregiver. Savannah Parkinson Support Group to Meet

Savannah Parkinson Support Group will meet Thursday, August 7, 2008, 5 PM in Marsh Auditorium at Candler Hospital, 5353 Reynolds St., Savannah GA. Dr. Earl L. Raffle, Auction, Concert to Benefit Shooting Victims

The friends of Jason Statts and David Williams, victims of a recent armed robbery and shooting in Ardsley Park, are planning an auction and raffle in conjunction with a concert to raise money to help defray their mounting medical bills and living expenses. The event will take place at The Jinx, 127 W. Congress St., August 2, 3 p.m. Raffle tickets will be on sale at various locations, The Jinx, Primary Art Supply, Vinnie Van GoGo’s, California Tattoo Company, Hang Fire, and both AMR music store. EOA Head Start Accepting Applications

The EOA Head Start Preschool Program is now accepting applications for children ages 3-5 (5-yearold are eligible if birthday is after September 1st).
