Patience! What is patience? The dictionary says patience is the ability to put up with annoyance, misfortune, pain or delay without complaint or loss of temper, diligence and perseverance. The Bible tells of two kinds of patience – bearing patience and waiting patience.

God speaks of knowing how much we can bear and He requires for us to have the patience that will wait on Him. We are living in a time where little patience is known among our fellow man. The whole world is in a hurry. I watch how most young people drive, they can’t wait, they take risks and sometimes these risks are deadly. If they could have just waited patiently or just let the other guy go on and bear with him.

The only thing or time that I see that there should be no patience is in getting prepared for the coming hour in these last and evil days. Do Not procrastinate in the Lord’s work. The Bible says “work while it’s yet day for night is coming when No man can work.” Do not hesitate in your obedience to God’s will for your life. He knows the Beginning and the End. Seek Him now, while He might be found. There is a day coming when all will end and then there will be a new beginning! However, if you are not ready, you will be left behind. The Bible says, “Be ye also ready for the coming of the Lord.” It talks about the ten virgins, five were ready and five were not and when the Lord came, those who were ready entered in, but those who were not ready found the door closed to them and they were left.

Take time out to come aside with God. Take time to hear His voice. He said that He is standing at the door knocking at your heart, but you must let Him in. The door knob is on your side of the door. Open it! Open up your heart by faith and let Him in for He is able to do the rest of what is needed in your life. He has a plan and purpose for all of His creations. Yes, you are one of His creations, but you can become a son, a child of God by Believing and Receiving Jesus. Be patient, take time out and sit or kneel quietly before Him. Ask Him to come into your heart and make you a New Creature. Say this prayer: Dear Lord, forgive me, a sinner. Come into my heart and save my soul. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the Cross to redeem me. I believe that He rose from the dead and now interceded for me at the right hand of God. (Roman 8:34). I believe that He is the Only mediator between God and man and that He is the Only who shed His blood to cleanse me from all my sins(I John 1:7). I repent of my sins. I turn from them now and I receive Jesus into my heart as my Savior and Lord. I pray this prayer in Jesus name. Amen.

God Bless and keep you always, Mama Rachel Thomas
