On last Friday, Lamar Smith of Lamar Smith Signature Homes held a breakfast press conference at the Mighty Eighth Museum to announce his new project “Operation Hero House”. With over 100 in attendance, Smith presented a brief video of the many military men and women who put themselves in harms way while serving our country. Many have lost their lives, some have lost limbs and Smith wants to honor them by making a donation of a brand new home to a special military family. Smith invited everyone to participate. “Maybe you would like to donate labor, or maybe materials, or make a financial contribution” said Smith. His motto for this project is “Standing Up For Those Who Stood Up For Us”. If you would like to participate in “Operation Hero House” contact Lamar Smith at 912-445-0932 or OperationHeroHouse.com
