NOAA’s Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary Welcomes Applicants For A K-12 Education Seat

NOAA’s Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary welcomes applicants for a K-12 Education seat on its advisory council. The council ensures public participation in sanctuary management and provides advice to the sanctuary superintendent.

Gray’s Reef relies on the K-12 Education Seat to help reach out to students. The following experience is preferred:

Experience with marine education programs;

Affiliation with educational institutions or organizations in the sanctuary region, active or retired educators encouraged encouraged to apply;

Experience, ability, and availability to conduct educational outreach consistent with the goals of the sanctuary and the mission of the council;

Applications should be submitted by Wednesday, May 31 before the recruitment period ends.
