Neighborhood Night At The Movie At The W.W. Law Center

The February Neighborhood Night at the Movie will present “Government Shutdown: What Happens When the Food Runs Out” on Friday, February 8th, 5pm at the W.W. Law Community Center, 909 E. Bolton St. This will be followed by an emergency readiness next steps/information discussion.

It doesn’t take a natural disaster such as a hurricane or flood for families to have a food, health or housing emergency. We are seeing that all it takes is a “partial Federal Shutdown” to turn lives upside-down. What do we need to do to be ready when Federal (or State) benefits are temporarily or permanently gone?

Join us for this very timely gathering.

The monthly 2nd Friday film series, Neighborhood Night at the Movies: Building Unity and Understanding in Community, is sponsored the Imam Jamil Action Network (IJAN) and the Eastside Neighborhood Association. For more information call 202- 907-4443. All ages are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
