“Misbehavin’ After Dark: The Blackout Affair”


The Savannah (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated invites the public to “Misbehavin’ After Dark: The Blackout Affair, “ a night of fun for a community purpose at 8pm Friday, September 18th at the Savannah Civic Center Ballroom.

Expect to get on the dance floor with the Candance Woodson Band; to play roulette at casino-style tables and to enjoy a fabulous meal. “Misbehavin’ After Dark: The Blackout Affair” is a fundraiser.

“It will further enable our chapter to provide transformational programming by addressing some of the greatest needs of our community,” said President Beverly M. Hall.

A few of the chapter’s programs include: New Beginning Art Exhibition presented at the S.P.A.C.E Gallery and the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport, college scholarships for students at Armstrong State and Savannah State University, and Links F.A.M.E (Fabulous Active Me), a mentoring program for middle and high school females in Chatham County. “Misbehavin’ After Dark: The Blackout Affair” is a way for people in the community to have fun and to contribute to the laudable purposes of the Savannah (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, which celebrates its 60th year in 2016.
