M.A. R.T.H.A., Inc. Presents The 2016 Precious Gems


 
 

On Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., Moving All Races To Higher Achievement, Incorporated (M.A.R.T.H.A.) will present the 2016 Precious Gems at the Junior Debutante cotillion to be held in the Student Union Ballroom at Savannah State University, 3219 College Street, Savannah, GA 31404. This year’s theme is “Elegance in Bloom.”

This year’s Precious Gems are: Taylor Iman Brown, the daughter of Jerome Brown, Jr. and Tara Scott- Brown; Kylan Alivia Campbell, the daughter of Samuel Anthony Campbell, III and Myka Monae Bussey-Campbell; K’lya Amonte Hankerson, the daughter of Tameka Lemon and Kareem Hankerson; Chirstina Arliss Manning, the daughter of Telethia Wallace and Ronald Cook, Jr.; Trinity Latriece Perry, the daughter of Henry Lee Perry, Jr. and LaVertta Scott-Perry; Katelynn Aushae Reynolds, the

 
 
daughter of April Reynolds and Anthony E. Reynolds; and Airen Juliane’ Young, the daughter of Andre and TaQuita Young.

The Precious Gem mentoring program provides training for social, educational and cultural growth for middle school age young ladies and culminates in a presentation pageant, Miss Precious Gem Junior Debutante Cotillion. This biennial fundraising pageant allows M.A.R.T.H.A. to continue to provide scholarships and charitable contributions to programs and services that assist in the growth and development of the communities within the Savannah-Chatham county area.

This event is open to the public. Admission tickets are $10.00 each. All proceeds support M.A.R.T.H.A., Inc. If you would like to make a tax deductible contribution, checks should be made payable to M.A.R.T.H.A., Inc., and mailed to PO Box 23292, Savannah, GA 31403.
