After an extensive search, Kelly Dolan has been named the Executive Director of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Georgia Chapter. Kelly takes the position from Dick Brown who left the organization in March.

Kelly comes to LLS with a tremendous amount of experience in both the nonprofit and for profit sectors. Most recently, Kelly was the Executive Director for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate. Prior to her eight years with that organization, Kelly served as the Director of Strategic Marketing for Egleston Children’s Health Care System in Atlanta. In addition, she has held several marketing and communications roles with agencies and organizations including Leo Burnett in Chicago, Wemmers Communications in Atlanta and Central Atlanta Progress.

The Georgia Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, headquartered in Atlanta, helps those diagnosed with blood cancers throughout the state with financial and emotional support. With campaigns such as Team In Training, Light The Night, Man & Woman of the Year and Pennies for Patients, the organization raises more than $7 million each year to help fund its mission.

“I am delighted to join the strong team already in place at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter and am looking forward to supporting patients and families who are affected by blood cancer throughout the entire state,” said Dolan.
