John Davis Florist, a creative floral design shop located in historic Savannah, Ga., is pleased to announce the Containers for Cancer program, which benefits victims of breast cancer, now through Mother’s Day, May 12, 2013.
The Containers for Cancer program will donate $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for every empty container or vase dropped off at John Davis Florist located at 2430 Abercorn St. now through Mother’s Day on May 12. In addition, for every Mother’s Day flower order received, a $5 donation will be made on behalf of the Containers for Cancer program.
“This is a great way to put your excess or unused vases to good use,” said John Davis, owner of John Davis Florist. “We all know someone who’s life was altered by this aggressive disease and we should support the work of great organizations like Susan G. Komen as they search for a cure and better treatment options.”
