Jami Young Joins Spring 2017 Graduating Class Of FAMU

 
 

Doctor Jami C. Young is a member of the Spring 2017 graduating class of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), located on the highest of seven hills in Florida’s capital city of Tallahassee. On April 29, 2017 in the presence of family and friends, Dr. Young will be conferred the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy. The daughter of Mrs. Lou Smith- Young and the late Wesley James Young, Jr., Jami is a native of Savannah and a graduate of Savannah Arts Academy where she majored in dance. Dr. Young is a military veteran and has participated in several humanitarian and pharmacy service experiences in countries to include South Africa, Dubai, Ghana and he Dominican Republic. She will be completing a Post Graduate Year-1 Pharmacy Residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida with aspirations to become a clinical pharmacist with specialty interests in Oncology and HIV/AIDs
