Heavyweights to headline The Hungry Club Forum of Savannah, Inc.’s Annual Community Service Appreciation Reception and Luncheon, a highlight of the organization’s Annual Meeting, on Saturday May 5, 2012, at 12:00 Noon, in the Eden Room of The Temple of Glory, located at 1105 Stiles Avenue, near W. Gwinnett Street. A welcoming reception begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon, featuring keynote presenters Joseph R. Hudson, Chairman, Hudson Strategic Group of Atlanta, and Savannah City Manager Rochelle Small-Toney, “On Becoming the Change that We Want to See: Launching and Assessing Initiatives Locally for Our Future Prosperity.”
As chairman of the 19- year-old HSG, Hudson is known nationally for his advocacy and acumen in the areas of community economic development, small minority business development, and strategic planning.
Small-Toney has distinguished herself as a top notch municipal administrator and manager in a number of communities, having served as Savannah’s Assistant City Manager for Public Development before being tagged for Savannah’s chief manager in March 2011.
