Greenbriar Children’s Center invites Savannah area residents to attend the Belk Charity Sale from 6-10 a.m. Saturday, April 29. All proceeds benefit Greenbriar Children’s Center.
Tickets to this private event cost $5 and are available in advance through Greenbriar. Customers who present a ticket will be admitted, and a free gift card will be given to the first 100 attendees. All shoppers will receive $5 off their first purchase as a thank-you from Belk for supporting the community.
One ticket may be redeemed per customer, and Greenbriar will keep 100 percent of the proceeds from every ticket it sells. Belk is located in the Oglethorpe Mall, 7804 Abercorn St.
Greenbriar supporters and Belk patrons who would like to attend the sale but have a scheduling conflict on April 29 can still support the fundraiser by shopping the week of the event and pre-paying for their items, which will receive the discounted sale prices. Greenbriar Children’s Center is a nonprofit organization that promotes the healthy development of children and young adults, as well as the strengthening of families through services provided. These services include an emergency shelter, runaway/homeless support, residential care, independent living, family preservation, early childhood education and care, and Project Safe Place.
“Greenbriar is extremely grateful for the support we receive from the community and we could not be more thankful to Belk for hosting this charity sale and letting us be a part of it,” Greenbriar Executive Director Gena Taylor said. “Shopping to support local charities is an enjoyable way to spend a morning, and I think participants will be pleased with the wide array of great deals.”
