Greenbriar Children’s Center celebrated the 2014 Donors, Volunteers and wRAP OFF contestants at the Board of Directors’ Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon held last Friday, February 20, 2015 at L. Scott Stell Jr.’s Christian Educational Fellowship Building of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at 1008 May Street.

The Board of Directors installed new officers for the 2015 year. They are: Douglas Reed, President; Juanita Adams, 1st Vice Pres.; Clemontine Washington 2nd Vice Pres., Cathy James, Secretary; Fernando Foster, Asst. Secretary; Elaine Campbell, Treasurer; and Alfred Young, Asst. Treasurer

Gena Taylor, Executive Director and the Board of Directors recognized and congratulated all of the 2014 volunteers for their commitment to making a difference. Greenbriar awarded

its 2014 Volunteers of the Year: The Westin, Savannah Harbor – Corporate; Kim Gusby, WSAV – Individual; 2014 Media Partner of the Year: WTOC 11 and 2014 Community Partner of the Year: Savannah Metropolitan Rotary.

Greenbriar recognized employees for their service including Gena P. Taylor, 10 years; Berta Hill 15 years; Angie Malone 20 years and Barbara Gregory as “Employee of the Year”.

Additionally, Greenbriar presented awards to its 2014 Gift wRAP OFF contestant, a new project incorporated to increase traffic and revenue during the 2014 holiday gift wrapping season.

Greenbriar relishes in the opportunity to thank all of its volunteers and donors for their commitment and dedication to the families and children they serve.
