Rev. William E. Thomas, Jr., officers, and members of the Greater Gaines Chapel AME Church will celebrate the 130th Church anniversary celebration on Sunday, March 19, 2017, @ 11:00 am. The church is located at 1006 May Street. The theme for the occasion is “Walking by Faith 130 Years.” The guest Proclaimer is the Rev. Dr. John Green, President Dean of the Turner Theological Seminary. The Greater Gaines Chapel AME Mass Choir and guest soloists will render the music. A spirit-filled celebration has been planned.
