The Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council is currently recruiting for three open seats: charter/commercial fishing, citizen-at-large, and conservation. The Gray’s Reef Sanctuary Advisory Council provides the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries with advice and recommendations on the management of Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary. The advisory council is composed of 19 representatives from various user groups, government agencies, and the public at large. The members represent a variety of stakeholders, including fishing, diving, conservation, science, education, citizens-at-large, state agencies, and federal agencies.
Applications are due Dec. 31, 2018. Applications not received or postmarked by Dec. 31, 2018 will not be considered.
