Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia (GSHG) is three weeks away from having more than 1,000 Girl Scouts and their families trek through the streets of Downtown Savannah as part of QuestFest 2017. From July 13-16, teams of girls from 21 states, Puerto Rico and Canada, will take part in a scavenger hunt of epic proportion through the Historic District of Savannah.
The “Quest” in QuestFest stands for the main event. Girls will use their smart phones to navigate through Savannah’s Historic District to solve clues, complete challenges, carry out random acts of kindness, and give back to the community. Join us for a challenge!
QuestFest, made possible by presenting sponsor Publix Super Markets Charities, is the largest event on the calendar for GSHG, and it’s only fitting that it happens in Savannah, the historic home of Girl Scouting. In addition to the adventures, the event includes a movie night at the historic Lucas Theatre, a traditional Girl Scouts Bridging ceremony event across the iconic Talmadge Bridge, and a benefit concert featuring country music duo Maddie & Tae. Additionally, we are still seeking local volunteers. Those interested should email firstname.lastname@example.org. To learn more, go to gsquestfest.org.
