Georgia Tech-Savannah Hosting Zoobotics Presentations for STEAM Summer Camps

Starting June 4, 2018, Georgia Tech-Savannah will host a number of summer camps on campus to enrich STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning for rising 1st through 8th graders. The 2018 Full STEAM Ahead Summer Camps will expand beyond technical abilities by teaching kids how to collaborate with a team to produce a robotics zoo from idea to reality.

Project Highlights:

Robotic Animals: Students will craft animal robots from recycled materials and robotic pieces and walk their parents through the code they learned to use on a computer or tablet. – Zoo Drones: The children will have created code to control the flight path of the drone-based animals, head movements, and lights.
